Confusing Hebrew Words

Noodles, Umbrellas & Mushrooms

 

You're at the shuk, looking for mushrooms but can't find  any.  You ask the vendor for Itriyot - he smiles. From this he knows you are an oleh hadash. He says - "Mamm, ut rotzah pitriyot?".  You've just asked him for noodles instead of mushrooms.  Ooops.  Let's face it, Hebrew is confusing and it is almost impossible to avoid making mistakes, but take up the challenge and learn these three new words that are often confused.
