Hannukah recipes for your enjoyment
Hannukah is an 8 day festival that commemorates the victory of the Maccabees over Hellenistic rule. It celebrates the re-capture and re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem. Only enough oil, to use for a single day in the temple, was found. Miraculously the oil burnt for 8 days. It is traditional to eat foods that have been deep fried; latkes, fritters and jam doughnuts (donuts). Here are some Hannukah recipes you will enjoy eating.
